Freeze for Food 5k and 10k Race

Join Monroe Street Family Dental in supporting the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV) of Wisconsin-Madison for their 36th annual Freeze for Food! Run or walk to raise funds to support food programs of Madison’s Open Doors for Refugees.

Open Doors for Refugees is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the resettlement of refugees in the Madison area, and welcoming them into the community. All proceeds from Freeze for Food will be donated to food relief efforts for incoming refugees. Open Doors stands by its mission to integrate existing refugees into being thriving members of the community and thereby increase our city’s richness in culture and diversity. Open Doors wants to help make Madison into a welcoming city where all feel safe and valued - and offer humanitarian aid to all.

Historically, the U.S. refugee resettlement program reflects the United States’ highest values and aspirations to compassion, generosity and leadership. Since 1975, Americans have welcomed over 3 million refugees from all over the world. Refugees have built new lives, homes and communities in towns and cities in all 50 states. Please consider supporting Open Doors for Refugees alongside Monroe Street Family Dental, and keep your doors - and arms - open for our fellow man (and women).
