Updated COVID-19 Precautions and Protocols

  • If you have a fever, or any COVID-19 symptoms, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.
  • All staff members have been fully vaccinated and received boosters when they are eligible.
  • With low community levels, masks in the waiting area are recommended, but not required.
  • We are requesting to limit companions to one parent or guardian only. If your child is five or older, they will start their appointment independently (i.e., no parent allowed in the room). The parent will be allowed into the room during the exam with Dr. Farrow or Dr. Rolli.
  • We have new air filtration systems to improve air quality and capture airborne particles.
  • We’re closely following guidance from the American Dental Association (ADA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) when it comes to PPE. We wear gowns, safety glasses, masks and gloves, and when appropriate clear face shields.
  • When possible, restorative treatment will be performed in a room that has a closed door when possible. This will help reduce the chance that aerosols can spread to other parts of the office.
  • We have reintroduced a polish with a rotating hand piece. There is little evidence to suggest that a polish creates aerosols during the appointment and to date, there have not been outbreaks of COVID-19 due to a polish in a dental office.
  • Use of a Cavitron (high-powered ultrasonic scaler) has been reintroduced for patients who benefit from this device.

Our Community

Where would we be without community?

Sitting in the waiting room at MSFD is a refreshing experience because it looks and feels so different from modern medical waiting rooms. It's more like sitting in the living room of a traditional town doctor. Toys and eclectic books line the sunny window seat, encouraging children to get lost in play. Adults can help themselves to a cup of tea and and browse a great selection of magazines. Inside the office is equipped with state of the art technology that helps Dr. Farrow and his team provide pain-free dental care. Dr. Farrow is especially committed to making children comfortable and providing positive memories of their early dental care.
