Healthy Heart, Healthy Smile

High blood pressure, or hypertension, is often called the "silent killer." High blood pressure can develop without noticeable symptoms while quietly affecting your heart, blood vessels, and overall health. That's why we've made blood pressure screenings a routine part of your dental visit.

Oral health is closely connected to whole-body health; monitoring vital signs helps us provide more comprehensive care. Regularly checking your blood pressure allows us to identify potential concerns early and guide you toward appropriate care if needed. Your safety matters to us and this simple step helps ensure every visit supports both your dental and overall well-being.

Our goal is to routinely check your blood pressure, not only during routine visits, but when you have a dental procedure. Normal blood pressue is less than or around 120/80. If your blood pressure is elevated during your appointment, we may advise you see your primary care physician to manage your blood pressure.
